Prayer for Peace

Lord, make me an instrument of Your peace.
Where there is hatred, let me sow love;
Where there is injury, pardon;
Where there is doubt, faith;
Where there is despair, hope;
Where there is darkness, light;
Where there is sadness, joy.

Divine Master, grant that I may not so much seek
to be consoled, as to console;
to be understood, as to understand;
to be loved, as to love;
for it is in giving that we receive,
it is in pardoning that we are pardoned,
it is in dying that we are born to eternal life.
Amen.

Disharmony

Seek and ye shall find. Shall find the inner knowledge that makes the problems of life plain. The difficulties of life are caused by disharmony in the individual. There is no discord in My Kingdom, only a something unconquered in my disciples. The rule of my kingdom is perfect order, perfect harmony, perfect supply, perfect love, perfect honesty, perfect obedience - all power, all conquest, all success. But so often my survents lack power, conquest, success, harmony, and I think I fail in my promises because these are not manifest in their lives. These are but the outward manafestations that result from the obedience, honesty, love, order - and they come, not in answer to urgent prayer, but naturally as light results from a lighted candle.

The Nicene Creed

We believe in one God, the Father, the Almighty, Maker of heaven and earth, of all that is, seen and unseen.
We believe in one Lord, Jesus Christ,
the only Son of God,
eternally begotten of the Father,
God from God, Light from Light,
true God from true God,
begotten, not made, one in Being with the Father.
Through him all things were made.
For us men and for our salvation he came down from heaven:
by the power of the Holy Spirit he was born of the Virgin Mary,
 and became man.
For our sake he was crucified under Pontius Pilate;
he suffered
died and was buried.
On the third day he rose again in fulfilment of the Scriptures;
 he ascended into heaven
and is seated at the right hand of the Father.
He will come again in glory to judge the living and the dead,
and his kingdom will have no end.
We believe in the Holy Spirit, the Lord, the giver of life,
who proceeds from the Father and the Son.
With the Father and the Son he is worshipped and glorified.
He has spoken through the Prophets.
We believe in one holy catholic and apostolic Church.
We acknowledge one baptism for the forgiveness of sins.
We look for the resurrection of the dead, and the life of the world to come.
Amen.

Hail Holy Queen

Hail holy queen mother of mercy
our life our sweetness and our hope
To you we cry poor abandoned childern of Eve
To you we send up our sighs
Mourning and weeping in this valley of tears
Turn thy most gracious advocate eyes of mercy towards us
And after this our exhile
Show us the blessed fruit of thy womb Jesus
O clement O loving O sweet virgin Mary
Pray for us oh holy mother of God so that we may be worthy of the promises of Christ
Amen

2005-02-08 [Tesa]: We can debate and still be at least polite about it...

2005-02-08 [Lioness123]: the only thing I find wrong with some religions are the RADICALS who take every single thing literally and believe that who ever doesn't have the same beliefs as them should die. Thats so wrong....thats why I say just have love for everyone and treat everyone cool.

2005-02-08 [Lioness123]: I don't think you have to believe everything the church teaches to get into heaven...I think God would care more about how caring and good a person's heart is and if they love Jesus and humanity. I don't believe God would condemn anyone (say for example, some african tribes) who hasn't heard the stories of the bible and of Jesus

2005-02-08 [Dint]: God will judge us accordingly to how we were brought up, or the kind of life we led. "Men are not to be judged by what they do not know, but by what they know, and by the manner in which they know it." ~Vauvenargues. I love that little saying because it's so true. :)

2005-02-08 [Dint]: Remember kids, today is Fat Tuesday. Eat what you want before Lent tomorrow! XD *Goes off and muches on some cookies*

2005-02-08 [Mr. Werewolf]: I agree with Lioness123. But don't people who weren't exposed to Christ (yet still lead virtuous lives) go to a place called Limbo? That's what my history teacher told me but I've never heard it anywhere else. I'll look it up tomorrow at CCD.

2005-02-08 [Mr. Werewolf]: Whoa, I almost forgot! Tomorrow is Ash Wednesday, so I have mass instead of CCD lol. What is everybody doing for Lent?

2005-02-08 [Tesa]: I don't think Limbo really exists. I heard that that is where people used to think Un-Baptized Babies go to.....I'm gunna look that one up cause it's fishy.

2005-02-09 [Frosty French Fry]: i think that earth is purgatory

2005-02-09 [Tesa]: God is perfect holiness. Is 6:3: "'Holy, holy, holy is the Lord of hosts! ' they [the Seraphim] cried one to the other." We are called to that same holiness. Mt 5:48: "So be perfect, just as your heavenly' Father is perfect." 1 Pet 1:1 5-1 6: "...as he who called you is holy; be holy yourselves in every aspect of your conduct, for it is written, 'Be holy because I am holy.'" Without perfect holiness, we cannot see God in heaven. Heb 12:14: "Strive for peace with everyone, and for that holiness without which no one will see the Lord." Rev 21:27: "...nothing unclean will enter it (heavensent). What happens to the faithful who die without perfect holiness or with sin that is not deadly.

2005-02-09 [RabidSphinx]: i like the idea of no god...life is so much better and easier that way

2005-02-09 [Tesa]: The biblical, logical, and historical answer is Purgatory. Purgatory comes from the verb "purge" meaning "to purify or cleanse." We should keep this notion of purification in mind when explaining this doctrine.

2005-02-09 [Tesa]: Only the weak will say that having no God is easier and better. In my own words, it's fear of there sins and fear of how much they would have to change. Life with out God is life with out Life.

2005-02-09 [RabidSphinx]: that coming from someone who *believes* in god...for someone that doesn't, all that is a load of BS...i don't fear sin, i don't fear change...i don't fear your god

2005-02-09 [Tesa]: Here, I made this, I hope it helps. Read it, don't just scan it. Truths

2005-02-09 [RabidSphinx]: skimming that, it looks like a guilt-trip and brainwashing

2005-02-09 [Tesa]: It's not RaineDrop. And do not say it's brainwashing, because it's not. Don't skim it, read it. I am sure you won't get brainwashed for reading a good article. Your just afraid of learning the truth.

2005-02-09 [RabidSphinx]: no, i'm just tired and only have an hour of internet time a night and don't really want to waist my time on EP learning about your beliefes *again*...and yes, it *is* brainwashing since it is a onesided artical written for the soul purpose to get people to think that you are right and we are wrong

2005-02-09 [Tesa]: That's all you believe is one sided. Your so one sided your exscuse is always the same. You don't have time. Learning about us from OUR point of view, would be a good thing for you. Since it's what you always call us. This would be doing what you preach so to say.

2005-02-09 [RabidSphinx]: oh, i *have* learned from your POV, spent months doing that...thus why i can say you have been brainwashed...because i have heard it all from your people...why should i spend *more* time learning about your beliefes? so far, all any of you have done is make it clearer that my conclusions were correct...

2005-02-09 [Tesa]: You know, learning Catholosism from DIFFERENT PEOPLE, different ways of teaching and different gifts from the Holy Spirit might help. Some people just don't know how to teach their faith. And not teaching it right can be really bad. Teaching it right is teaching it with the fullness of truth. Try looking at some different points of view, read here and there. It can't hurt, can it?

2005-02-09 [RabidSphinx]: i would read it, or skim it, if i had more time...but going to 6 different catholic churches and talking to dozens of priests isn't enough, then your faith is screwed because no one is teaching it right

2005-02-09 [Tesa]: Well, read it later. It isn't my fault you look at things with half a heart. You can't learn any thing if you don't want too, and don't say that you *did* want to learn but we proved you wrong. If you did want too, you would not have given up.

2005-02-09 [RabidSphinx]: oh, i didn't "give up" i came to a conclusion...that is different...so stop trying to fucking guilt trip me, and brainwash me that you are fucking right...

2005-02-09 [Tesa]: Stop swearing please. And I am in no way trying to brainwash you, only telling you truths which you clearly wish to look at wrongly. A conclusion Scientificly can be made when much evidence has been taken, you have more and more evidence here that what the Catholics believe in is true. Also, I don't like guilt trips, so I won't give them.

2005-02-09 [RabidSphinx]: your "truths" are only trueths to *you*...there is no real evidance, nothing to conclusively prove *any* of your faith...just your word that it is true

2005-02-09 [Tesa]: There is evidence, other wise we too would not believe it. Some things, Catholics don't have to believe because it was given to us solely by word OR are just very mystical, so yeah. But other wise, Catholics are no stupid bunch of people. If you think we rely on word alone and believe in any thing that comes to us, your very wrong. Church Scholors and Teachers and persons of great levels of Science and Teachings, believe this because they have studied it. Read the Truths page for back up to this answer....Read it now or later, but read it.

2005-02-09 [Tesa]: Okies, the Truths has grown and new pages added! Let me know if any of you have any ideas!! ^__^ Thanks and God Bless!

2005-02-09 [Mr. Werewolf]: It's Ash Wednesday! Happy Ash Wednesday everyone!

2005-02-09 [Tesa]: Thanks [Mr. Werewolf]!! And same to you!! I love Ash Wednesday! Can't wait to get my ashes and be a sign to the town!! *yay*

2005-02-10 [RabidSphinx]: some people at my school walked around with ashes on their foreheads all day from early morning mass...we all made fun of them

2005-02-10 [Dint]: That's pretty shallow.

2005-02-10 [RabidSphinx]: who, them for wearing them, or us for mocking them out for being assholes?

2005-02-10 [Dint]: I just thought that it was pretty shallow to make fun of the people for wearing the ashes on their foreheads. But if they were already being "assholes" then screw it.

2005-02-10 [RabidSphinx]: i think they are assholes for wearing them to a liberal school....

2005-02-10 [Dint]: Free country.

2005-02-10 [RabidSphinx]: yup...and our freedom to mock them out and throw them about...door swings both ways

2005-02-10 [RabidSphinx]: yup...and our freedom to mock them out and throw them about...froodome swings both ways

2005-02-10 [Dint]: Still doesn't change my mind that it was a pretty shallow endeavor.

2005-02-10 [RabidSphinx]: well, cry me a river...they were losers *before* they came to school with ash on their foreheads...they just added fule to the fire with their own stupid actions

2005-02-10 [Mr. Werewolf]: That's terrible! I can't believe anyone would do that. The freedom of speech is only applicable when the rights of others are not being infringed upon. In this case, they were.

2005-02-10 [Mr. Werewolf]: Ach, I was trying to fast completely today, and without thinking I ate something...argh! I'm so angry. I know the Church says you can have one full meal and two smaller meals, but I still feel kind of bad (even though my mind completely wandered). Would you say that's pergury?

2005-02-10 [RabidSphinx]: i ate a chicken patty...(^_^)

2005-02-10 [RabidSphinx]: we have our rights to say freely what we like about people, as long as it isn't harrasment...so we did nothing wrong...(^_^)

2005-02-10 [Dint]: My mom made homemade pizza last night...there's one slice left and it's taunting me. O_O

2005-02-10 [Mr. Werewolf]: Oh, and a trick to help you when you're fasting...80% of the time you think you're hungry you're actually thirsty. I am just starting to get hungry today and I haven't eaten anything. Well except for those Taco Bell tortilla crumbs in the car that I told you about earlier...:-S

2005-02-10 [RabidSphinx]: if you are hungry, the trick is to drink water and chew gum...the water fills your stomach, and the gum takes over your want/need to chew and eat...trust me...it works....lost 15 lbs that way

2005-02-10 [Mr. Werewolf]: Wow, that's a good idea.

2005-02-10 [RabidSphinx]: (^_^) if you are allowed, drink something other than water, like milk, or juice (not soda...)...it will be more satisfying...but the key is gum...chew and chew and chew and you won't feel hungry...(^_^)

2005-02-10 [Dint]: I chew a lot of gum when it's available around the house. It does help. *nods* I was sick all last week with the flu, didn't eat anything. But when I started to ween myself back on food, I would only take a few bites of whatever I had and I was intantly full. XD

2005-02-10 [Mr. Werewolf]: Thanks for the advice, I'll check whether that's allowed (there might be an unwritten law or something).

2005-02-10 [RabidSphinx]: i don't think there is anything against drinking, just eating...so milk and juice, not soda, would be allowed...and i used to only be able to eat a bite of something at a time...then i got fat...thus why i'm on a water and gum diet right now

2005-02-10 [Dint]: Werewolf it's fine to drink liquids. I had two cups of coffee and plenty of water. =)

2005-02-10 [Dint]: I gain weight so fast. I've been working on getting rid of this flab for years. Walking is the key for me...wish I had someone to walk with though. >.<

2005-02-10 [RabidSphinx]: i went from 85 lbs to 145 lbs in 2 months...i had a total breakdown because of it...i haven't been happy since...i have lost more than 15 lbs, but i'm still not happy, and i will not be happy till i'm right again

2005-02-10 [Mr. Werewolf]: Yeah, drinking is allowed. I've had so much water today. Last year I drank a lot of orange juice. I was just wondering about gum...I don't know if that's categorized as actual food or not. Some people think it is, some don't, I'm not sure.

2005-02-10 [Dint]: I hear you. I'm like a walking stump. Being fat really brings down the self-esteem level dramatically. Just have to keep at it though. ><

2005-02-10 [Dint]: Gum isn't being consumed like food is...I chew gum during lent when I have to fast. I don't see anything wrong with it and no one's told me otherwise. >_>

2005-02-10 [Mr. Werewolf]: I think I'm too thin :-S

2005-02-10 [Dint]: I can give you a whopping 20 pounds for free [Mr. Werewolf]! How about it? XD

2005-02-10 [Mr. Werewolf]: :D lol

2005-02-10 [RabidSphinx]: you can never be to thin

2005-02-10 [Tesa]: Yay! I got my Ashes like, 20 mins ago! I am sooo heppy! I hope I don't sleep them off....I want to be a walking bilboard tomorrow! *grins*

2005-02-10 [Tesa]: Our priest gave this great sermon about WHY we have Ashes...so I thought I might share what I remember! *word for word I mean* "...Why do we receive ashes? Because God thinks were just ashes? A bunch of dirt? No, God is not negative. Instead it's a rememberance. We say that we are dust and to dust we shall return because when God formed us, we were lifeless dust. And with out God, we still would be dust....." ~Fr. Peter Muhich~ MAN! He rocks, and that was just a TID bit of it! Aint it swell? Oh yes....*grins*

2005-02-10 [RabidSphinx]: *rolls eyes* wow, i guess losers are not limited only to my school

2005-02-10 [Tesa]: Don't pick on your self that way, it's not cool to pick on any one.

2005-02-10 [RabidSphinx]: i wasn't picking on myself...i was picking on you and the losers in my school that walked around today with ash on their faces

2005-02-10 [Tesa]: Ohhh! Well that's still not cool. If being right to you is wrong then I'd like to be wrong. Or how ever that saying goes. I'm proud, Catholic and Proud. Glad to know I am already a billboard! *cheers Catholics!*

2005-02-10 [Dint]: *Yawns* Well I'm not going to stick around for yet another pointless argument. Goodnight people.

2005-02-10 [Tesa]: Here, here Dint!! Nighty night all!! *hugs room* Have a GREAT start of Lent! "...Repent, for the Kingdom of God is at hand..!" Muwhahhaa....May God's peace be with you all, and always!

2005-02-10 [RabidSphinx]: i plan, when i go on my rampage, to blow up several churches, and laugh....you familiar with the seven deadly sins teri?

2005-02-10 [Bad Stone]: hmm Ted Kennedy didnt get his ashes, I can't believe for a second he's Catholic, hes far to liberal to be Catholic at all.

2005-02-10 [RabidSphinx]: i hate liberals...they are a curse among the stupid humans of the world

2005-02-10 [Bad Stone]: cant stand most of them either...ehhh

2005-02-10 [Lioness123]: I forgot today was ash wednesday and had a hamburger... :(

2005-02-10 [RabidSphinx]: you forgot? wow...even i remembered and i'm not even catholic...how does that work out?

2005-02-10 [Tesa]: Don't worry Lioness, we all forget sometimes! Just go to confession!^^

2005-02-10 [Bad Stone]: you can eat hamburgers on sunday though!

2005-02-10 [Frosty French Fry]: you can eat hamburgers any day of the week cept friday right now

2005-02-10 [Tesa]: That's right. Any day! I tried to fast (Even though I don't have to till I'm 18,) but I failed! MEH! At least I didn't eat MEAT! *grins* Whew....

2005-02-10 [Mr. Werewolf]: The guidelines on fasting are one full meal and two smaller meals (no meat) or less. I tried complete fasting yesterday and I pretty much succeeded except I subconsciously ate some taco chip crumbs that I saw in the car. I remembered right in the middle of eating them, and I spit them out. I felt so bad!

2005-02-10 [Tesa]: [Mr. Werewolf], your good....*deep sigh* *hands you a Holy Card for your work* Well done! ^o^

2005-02-10 [Mr. Werewolf]: But I ate the taco bell chip crumbs! Is that pergury even though I didn't think about it when I did it? *weeps*

2005-02-10 [Tesa]: LOL! You made a mistake, your only human!

2005-02-11 [Lioness123]: actually, you don't have to confess if it was an accident and ya really forgot

2005-02-11 [Mr. Werewolf]: Yeah, I really did! I was so surprised when I realized I was eating. Right, if it's an accident you don't have to confess. Lucky because I don't even have time to do that anymore.

2005-02-11 [Tesa]: Yeah, accident, you don't have to confess. ---You don't have time for confession??

2005-02-11 [Mr. Werewolf]: Yes [Tesa]. I'm sorry I'm not homeschooled like you. When I'm not in school I'm doing homework. In the rest of my time I have to spend practicing for music competitions. Not only that, my mother is always ill and my father is always working overtime, so there is no way I could make it.

2005-02-11 [Dint]: It really doesn't matter if you're homeschooled or not [Mr. Werewolf]. How do you know what [Tesa]'s schedule is like? She could be just as busy as you are. Don't be too quick to judge next time please.

2005-02-11 [Tesa]: Thanks [Dint]....

2005-02-11 [Lioness123]: I know a guy who's homeschooled...he lives three houses away from me and spends not even two hours a day doing school work. He's ALWAYS messing around on the computer or watching tv

2005-02-11 [RabidSphinx]: same as all the homeschoolers i know...

2005-02-11 [Frosty French Fry]: i know one just like that...cept he doesnt do any work

2005-02-11 [Lioness123]: this guy I know is also overweight BECAUSE of his lifestyle. I personally think public highschool would do him a world of good

2005-02-11 [Frosty French Fry]: it might but then again...public high school can screw him up really bad

2005-02-11 [Lioness123]: no, this guy needs to socialize. He's spent his life pretty much alone with his parents and has almost no social skills....he's like a big baby. He went with me and a bunch of friends on a road trip one time and kept calling his dad saying that he wanted to come home, after it hadn't even been 10 hours

2005-02-11 [Lioness123]: plus he'd make more friends

2005-02-11 [Frosty French Fry]: hes a titty baby...ya he prolly would too....

2005-02-11 [RabidSphinx]: i'm like that...so what? i just like being home

2005-02-11 [Lioness123]: actually, he's 21 now...it doesn't look like he will be moving out any time soon. He's had a job for a few months, but is now on social security because he has depression which supposedly hinders him from working. He's never had a girlfriend, and I can't ever see him getting the guts to ask a girl out or move out and get his own apartment

2005-02-11 [Frosty French Fry]: damn

2005-02-11 [Lioness123]: yeah, its really sad. I feel sorry for him.

2005-02-11 [RabidSphinx]: sounds like me...gee...thanks

2005-02-11 [Lioness123]: do you plan to live on your own when you're 21, Raine?

2005-02-11 [Dint]: I think it's perfectly normal to still be hanging around home when you're 21. One of my five older siblings lived here until she was 23. It was cheaper for her to finish college living here than worrying about paying for an apartment. Then she got married and moved out.

2005-02-11 [Lioness123]: yeah, but thats the thing...this guy isn't IN college. He isn't doing anything but sitting on his a$$ letting his parents clean up after him and do whatever

2005-02-11 [RabidSphinx]: i do plan to still be here at 21...and i'm not in collage, neither is my brother matt, and he is 22 and still lives at home...

2005-02-11 [Lioness123]: I'm 19 and I CAN"T WAIT to move out...I mean, I love my family and all, but I just REALLY want my own space

2005-02-11 [Dint]: His parents should think about getting that guy to think more seriously about his life then and whoop his butt into shape. I don't know how these people think or anything, but that's what I would do.

2005-02-11 [Dint]: Don't worry Raine, I'm going to be the same way. I'm just too attached to my family. ^^;; But that doesn't mean I'm a lazy person like that other guy. XD

2005-02-11 [RabidSphinx]: you have ANY IDEA what is it like to grow up in a setting like him and i where you ONLY safe place is alone inside? i suffer from seviere depression and paranoia and have panic attacks at the mere idea of having to leave...let alone actually leaving the house...his parents simply "whooping his butt" wont to a damn thing but probably make him withdraw more!

2005-02-11 [Lioness123]: I can honestly see this guy someday as a 40 year old man still living in his parents basement talking to 15 year old girls online ...his mom will still be doing his laundry and cooking his meals and cleaning his messes...

2005-02-11 [Dint]: I know exactly what it's like. I have severe social phobia, but I was talking about being lazy and not doing what he was supposed to be doing with his schooling. (Sorry I wasn't very explicit there) ><

2005-02-11 [Lioness123]: one thing though, this guy REALLY knows computers. He spends so much time with them, he knows more than my dad who went to college for 2 years to study computers. If any of our computers get a problem that my dad can't fix, we call that guy and have him come over. He usually fixes the problem in 5 minutes. He should get a computer related job, he'd be REALLY good at it.

2005-02-11 [Dint]: At least he has that to support him one day. ^^

2005-02-11 [Lioness123]: I highly doubt he will ever use his skills and get a job. he'd much rather just keep things the way they are now. Andwhy wouldn't he? he's got a sweet deal (the way he sees it)

2005-02-11 [Dint]: If this guy doesn't have any phobias or anxiety attacks, then this fellow doesn't really have an excuse not to get a job to support himself in the future. Who knows though. Maybe his parents will guid him on the right mind set.

2005-02-11 [Dint]: Anyhow, I'm off to bed. Gotta wake up in 5 hours. Goodnight everybody.

2005-02-11 [Lioness123]: no, as far as I know he doesn't have any kind of phobias, just depression that he takes meds for that control it. But no, he doesn't really have any other excuse than being a lazy butt

2005-02-15 [Dint]: <img120*0:http://www.elfpack.com/img/photo/1508_1108429240.jpg> from me to all you guys! :)

2005-02-15 [Tesa]: CUTNESS!

2005-02-15 [Tesa]: Oh, and I'd like to uhm, ask every one to pray for a person I know whose Mother is dying. Not to tell his story from pole to pole, but he and his family need prayers. Thanks all..

2005-02-15 [Tesa]: At my bible study tonight, our Parish Priest gave these AWESOME quotes, I think some of them are his own....  "We are miserable in our actions, not in our being. God made us, not our actions." .... "Sin has a community efect. No sin does not just efect the one person. Adam and Eve's sin did not just affect them, and so forth..." ... "We are so good that God thought us worth saving. We are so bad that God had to die to save us." .... "The Church is not a museum for Saints, but a hospital for sinners!" Fr. Mikey just ROCKS! Weee!

2005-02-15 [Lioness123]: wise words

2005-02-16 [Lioness123]: Welcome, Drop out 001!

2005-02-16 [Tesa]: Thanks for joining Allysa!!!!!^o^

2005-02-16 [Leelo]: Howdy! What if your not catholic, what if your southern baptist(which is a christian) could you still join??

2005-02-16 [RabidSphinx]: make your own wiki...lol

2005-02-16 [Dint]: It's just a suggestion, but maybe there could be a Supporters group for this wiki..? ^^;;

2005-02-16 [RabidSphinx]: how about a non-supporters, but a "hangaround" list since that is where i would fall in all of this

2005-02-16 [Dint]: Sounds plausible to me. What do you say Lioness? ^__^ You're the creator of this wiki after all! =P

2005-02-16 [Leelo]: ok how about this, a supports group list thing and a hangaround, that way i can fall into the supporters list and rain drop here can fall into the hangaround,

2005-02-16 [RabidSphinx]: why would you support catholics if you are NOT cathoilic?

2005-02-16 [Tesa]: That's a very nice comment!^^

2005-02-16 [Leelo]: just because I'm not somehting doesn't mean i can't support it lol think about it, Catholics are christians too! And Jesus i think built or created the first Roman Catholic church

2005-02-16 [RabidSphinx]: and they also teach things you don't agree with, thus why you broke away from the church...

2005-02-16 [Tesa]: *hugs [Leelo]* He did make this church first, and thank you for your support!

2005-02-16 [Leelo]: Well there are things to agree with and disagree with, but either way they are still followers of God, and lioness is one of my friends

2005-02-16 [Dint]: Well said [Leelo], well said! ^__^

2005-02-16 [RabidSphinx]: *shrugs* i still say the bible is a load of trash...and if you would like to add to it, there is a bible debate on the agree to disagree and there are no supporters of the bible there

2005-02-16 [Tesa]: I agree with [Dint]!

2005-02-16 [Tesa]: Now the bible is a load of trash? That's not very cool.

2005-02-16 [RabidSphinx]: *leans back* my opinion...feel free to add to the debate

2005-02-16 [Leelo]: What bible do ya'll read?? I read the King James version.

2005-02-16 [Tesa]: Not going too. I'm not going to start yet another 'fight' more then a debate with you.

2005-02-16 [Tesa]: RVS Catholic Revise Standard Version. Catholic Edition.

2005-02-16 [Leelo]: Oh I never heard of that one.... all I heard of was the mormon version or something..... what does the RVS bible talk about or teach??

2005-02-16 [RabidSphinx]: i have read several bibles, and i am not PART of that debate, so quite your bitchin' teri...

2005-02-16 [Lioness123]: hey yall

2005-02-16 [RabidSphinx]: hey lioness...people are asking for more member lists...a "supporters" list so snickerdoodle can feel loved, and since i'm not asupporter, i refused to let them include me on that list so there needs to be another list "hangarounds".....

2005-02-16 [Leelo]: erm..... I wasn't asking so I can feel loved, I was just asking because i wanted to join and lioness is my friend....

2005-02-16 [Tesa]: It's okies [Leelo], your welcome here wheather or not your name is on a 'member list' or not.

2005-02-16 [Leelo]: Yeah thanks!

2005-02-16 [Frosty French Fry]: hello [Leelo]

2005-02-16 [Tesa]: Any time!^o^ ---Oh and about your last question. Our Bible is A LOT different then the Mormon Bible. It has all the books and it's the Catholic-straight up version.....and...ahh....well I don't know much else. Just that I love it!

2005-02-16 [Leelo]: lol cool cool

2005-02-16 [Lioness123]: I made the members list for only roman catholics, since that is the point of this wiki...so we can inform other people about our religion who are curious...but hey, maybe we can start another list for noncatholics who hang around here alot

2005-02-16 [Leelo]: lol you don't have to change anything, lol I can just watch the page and comment lol

2005-02-17 [Mr. Werewolf]: I read the New American Bible...

2005-02-17 [Leelo]: cool

2005-02-18 [Tesa]:    I have something to say on Gays, all I hear lately is, "I hate Gays! I'd bash their heads in if I got the chance!" How mean is THAT!? *Being* gay is not a sin, (If you are born this way) ACTING on homosexual acts *IS*. Living the gay lifestyle is horribly wrong. If you are gay, but do not act on it, (Thoughts, Deeds and Omissions), by living a chaste life you can so get into heaven. Yes, being gay is bad, and there is something wrong with that person. But God gave every one a cross to bare, they just have a hudge one that they will have to live with their entire lives. Bearing crosses given by God does not make God evil or bad, because he is all good.

2005-02-18 [Tesa]: But giving us tests to test our love for him and our trust in him is normal and we all have these sorts of things to take up.

2005-02-18 [Tesa]: I am against gay marriages, but they are our brothers and sisters in Christ, so I hope people who say continually, "I hate gays" Will change their words. Our family members need our prayers so they might change their lives around and put their trust in God.

2005-02-18 [Tesa]: I only hope that some of these really sick minded people who are so caught up in this now 'normal thing' can see that it is NOT normal and that is wrong. There. Now I feel better..

2005-02-18 [Tesa]: WELCOME [Quo Vadis]!! *hugs*

2005-02-18 [Lioness123]: new member!

2005-02-18 [Leelo]: hmmmm I'm in a wiki called I hate homosexuality....

2005-02-18 [Frosty French Fry]: Teri...you are not born gay...it is a lifestyle choice...and it is flat out disgusting

2005-02-18 [Tesa]: Some yes. Some people just have that interest in the opisit sex and decide it's fine to carry those feelings out! It's sad..

2005-02-19 [Lioness123]: I'm still undecided on weither people are born gay or not...there hasn't been enough scientific study to prove it once and for all. but regardless, everyone has the will power to ignore perverted urges

2005-02-19 [Leelo]: there is no one born gay it is a choice, some people do it for the attention..... God would not make someone be born gay, because it would be going against his word, think about it, being gay is a sin, so therefore no one is born gay, would seem kinda retarded of God to make it where being gay is a sin and wrong, and then have people born gay.

2005-02-19 [Frosty French Fry]: exactly...thank you [Leelo]

2005-02-19 [Leelo]: lol no prob

2005-02-19 [Mr. Werewolf]: Gay people are not born that way. I agree with [Leelo], God wouldn't do that to someone...it's just flat-out cruel. How can you explain that people sometimes change their "preference" halfway through their lives? I think they just get confused with their feelings.

2005-02-19 [Leelo]: Yeah or they want attention or to get back at a old bf or gf....(myh friend did that to two girls he like, and they turned out to not like him, so he went gay to get back at them)

2005-02-19 [Frosty French Fry]: ewwwwwww

2005-02-19 [Leelo]: Yeah i know..... he's still my friend, but I hardly have any respect for him, for stooping that low...

2005-02-19 [Frosty French Fry]: ya no doubt

2005-02-19 [Leelo]: Yeah

2005-02-19 [Leelo]: made me hurt bad, cuz he was like one of my best friends and like was inlove with him and everything, and invited him to my 16th b-day party, and like a day or so after that it took Tracey to tell me what happened and that he's gay, because he couldn't tell me himself....

2005-02-19 [Mr. Werewolf]: Ugh :-(

2005-02-19 [Leelo]: yeah.....

2005-02-19 [Lioness123]: we had to watch a video in my sociology class the other day about human sexuality and gayness and group sex... it was appalling...then after the video when I commented that that was so gross, the girl next to me was like, "whats so gross about it?!"

2005-02-19 [RabidSphinx]: *shakes head* they are all polluted by the wicked lustful temptation that runs repent in our society today, demoralizing our youth and leaning them away from god and clean thoughts

2005-02-19 [Lioness123]: *smiles wide* wow raine, I almost can't believe you said that (thats a compliment)

2005-02-19 [RabidSphinx]: (i just spellchecked it for you...lol) well, that is what i believe...really, it is...i think that people rejecting god has lead to the great domoralization of this country/world...look at todays youth, they are now gay, or tramps, or living unmarried together...and they see *nothing* wrong with it...abortions are the norm...drugs are fun, and athority has no right to tell them what they can or can't do...*sighs*it's enough to make me want to cry sometimes

2005-02-19 [Lioness123]: thats why when i'm a parent someday (God willing) I won't be afraid to spank my kids when they've done wrong. I think parnts now a days are too lenient on their kids and let them get away with too much

2005-02-19 [RabidSphinx]: yup...my kids will get their mouths washed out with soap if they cuss, they will get a smack bottom if they do wrong intentionally...i will scold them if they dissobay...and i will raise them on the bible's "high" moral standards

2005-02-19 [Lioness123]: I mainly just want to get across that they should treat everyone the same way that they would want to be treated. I was teased alot as a kid and it left a chip on my shoulder. I want to teach my kids to stand up for themselves and not let anyone push them around

2005-02-19 [RabidSphinx]: well, my husbaned would have a say in how the children would be raised...but i still would teach them right from wrong and not let their minds get polluted like the youth of today

2005-02-19 [Lioness123]: thats really good

2005-02-19 [RabidSphinx]: *yawns...but i'm tired though...i was out "clubbing" all night...you should talk to [apologies glances and messed up chances]...she is being lead astray by the devil's temptations and she *will* go t hell if this persists...she won't listen to me, but maybe she will listen to you...*sighs* people like her who *know* the resons why it's wrong, but *choose* to ignore them likeshe has freely and openly admitted to doing is just as bad as being the gay herself...she needs guidence

2005-02-20 [Mr. Werewolf]: Sounds like you both will make wonderful mothers!

2005-02-20 [Lioness123]: lol, thanks

2005-02-20 [RabidSphinx]: thank you...i already have a 4 year old i'm a mother to...*sighs* hope i do her well

2005-02-23 [apologies glances and messed up chances]: I am not getting lead by the devil. I just support what the gays are doing. And I understand your side to. I just don't know why they can't be together. If their happy then leave them be thats what I say.

2005-02-23 [Leelo]: Well tell them to leave us be! We don't agree with them, but we're not the one's whining, they are, adn they're the ones bothering us!! So tell them to leave us alone!

2005-02-23 [Dint]: I agree with [Leelo]. Only a small % of gays populate the world, and yet they get all these special rights and they push their way of living on the rest of society. I don't hate the gays, but I disagree with their way of living. At any rate, being homosexual is just plain unnatural and morally wrong.

2005-02-23 [Leelo]: I agree with dint on that, it is unnatural there is no way you can make it natural, I mean, look just witht he fact of looking around you, wold tell you that gayism is unnatural, that's why there is MALE and FEMALE, you see where I'm getting at?

2005-02-23 [Tesa]: I agree. Being gay is NOT NORMAL. It's a sickness and those people need help. The world these days like to tell us that things, and all things desirble and pleasureble in any way to the mind or body is good. Even though, it is not always so good for us...
